Adults

Art 4 Every Palette, as its name suggests is a multi media course covering a wide range of materials and techniques. Each theme begins together and then the students can develop work in their own individual way. Students may wish to dip in and out of the course. Some typical themes: The Seasons; Trees; Texture; Colour; Composition; Perspective; Travel; Sihouettes; Reflections; Portraits; Figures; My Village; Windows; Rainforest; Coast. Drawing and painting skills dominate the course but students may wish to explore design, ceramics or other crafts. 

     Tuesdays  7.00 for 7.30 pm to 9:30pm                               Wednesdays 9.30 for 10.00 am to 12.30 pm 
Course Fees: Tuesday evenings £60 for 10 week term, £55 over 60, under 18, (£3/ £2.75 per hour)
Wednesday mornings £75 for 10 week term, £68 over 60, under 18, (£3/£2.72 per hour) 
               
Children

Smart Art : A course for 9 to 15 year olds, in which individual project work covers drawing, painting, design, ceramics and other crafts. Each project begins together then the students can develop work in their own individual way at their own level. Themes are very varied, for example: Autumn; Jack Frost; Christmas; Beach Collage; Tie Dye; Printing; Huge Papier Mache Fish; Giant Sweets; Ceramic Heraldic Crests; Exploding Books; Watercolour Miniatures.

6 Saturday afternoons from 2:30pm until 4:30pm.
Course Fees: 6 week term £38 (inclusive of 12 hours tuition, use of studio's facilities and all ceramic materials and firing costs)


Colour and Clay: Holiday courses for 7 to 11 year olds. Courses especially designed for young artists who enjoy both two and three dimensional artwork. Courses change each holiday, covering themes such as "Treasure Island", "Scarecrows", "Dragons", "Under the Sea", "Animal Portrait Gallery", "Alice in Wonderland"

Course fees: £8 for 2 1/2 hours of tuition, all ceramic materials and firing costs and lots of fun!

Pottery Parties: Birthday Parties, (or family parties), for children aged 5 +, tailored to your child's interests!  

  • Age 5+/8+/10+/12+ and ages spanning across families
  • Arranged at mutually convenient times after school, at weekends or in school holidays
  • Two hours duration, typical timings: 10.30 - 12.30; 2.30 - 4.30; 4.00- 6.00
  • Themes chosen by your child according to their interests
  • Some typical themes: Animals; Egyptians; Dragons; Fish Tanks; Funky Faces
  • Fee: £50 for up to 7 children, (about £7 each, extra children, up to 10, £5 each)
  • Fee includes: tuition, all ceramic materials and firing costs, mid course drink
